Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Account Manager with 8-10 years of experience in technology sales, particularly in the corporate or banking sector. The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for managing technology sales, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintain a strong customer relationship in the banking sector. The role also involves lead generation, drive strategic sales, and maintaining effective communication with clients to understand their requirements and challenges and provide self-service solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive high-value sales for self-service solutions including products and services to the banks and financial institutions.
- Develop strategic plans to expand market share and penetrate new financial institutions and expand the portfolio with the existing customers.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to CXO-level stakeholders in banks and large enterprises, providing tailored automation and digital transformation solutions.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles including opportunity identification, client engagement, solution proposal, contract negotiation, deal closure, order fulfillment and AR collection.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, product, service, and project teams to ensure solution alignment and smooth delivery.
- Analyze customer needs, industry trends, and competitor positioning to continuously refine go-to-market strategy.
- Mentor and support junior sales team members as needed to elevate overall team performance.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance metrics to leadership.
- Work closely with marketing to implement promotional campaigns and brand positioning strategies.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, client events, and networking platforms to enhance brand visibility and lead generation.
Qualifications
- Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in technology sales, with a strong background in selling to corporate and/or banking sector.
- Proven experience in managing enterprise-level sales cycles and building strong client relationships within banking, financial services, or large corporates.
- Strategic mindset with a consultative selling approach.
- Technical understanding of fintech self-service solutions is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office.
- Willingness to travel as and when required.
